Both valve body and gate are cast from A356 aluminum.  These components are thermal solution treated for stress relieving and artificial age hardening.  The gate is coated with Teflon.  Our Econo-Valve is compatible with either steel or aluminum culvert applications since the valve body is coated 100% with non-conductive materials.  It is available in 6" and 8".

The valve body and gate are cast from 356 virgin aluminum, age hardened and stress relieved to help prevent warping and deformation.  The valve is coasted with a nylon based compound by an electrostatic powder spray process.  The valve superstructure is fabricated from heavy aluminum extrusions with a stainless steel valve stem.  The gate is available in 12" only, one you may never have to change.
